北京农学院动物科技学院基础兽医学学科原负责人、基础兽医学、临床兽医学硕士生导师。
中国农业大学临床兽医学中西医结合方向合作培养博士生导师。
研究方向：
畜禽应激及中药调控；中兽药、中药饲料添加剂研制与开发。致力于畜禽亚健康及药食同源中药添加剂研制与开发27年；持续开展动物健康筛查与中兽医治未病和健康畜牧业产业链建设。

中兽药产业技术创新战略联盟理事长；

家畜环境卫生学会常务理事，副秘书长；

12、1999年 主持北京市科委课题“猪的热应激及其中药调控研究” ，进行国标三类中兽药清凉冲剂的研制开发；
主持由北京市中关村高新技术开发区海淀园创新基金项目“绿色新中兽药的研制开发”，探讨和推广从饲养管理、到兽医防疫、鸡肉安全评价及肉鸡生产加工中HACCP管理体系建立等方向。
1、2009年 主持的“石香颗粒”， 获农业部三类新兽药（2009）新兽药证字37号，该成果已完成转化。
2、主持禽用系列中兽药10项（四类）新兽药开发并获得新兽药证书。
3、作为主持人和副主持人进行猪、牛中兽药的开发研制。其中，以第一完成人获得禽用系列中兽药的研发与推广获得北京市人民政府农业推广二等奖，地方科技进步二等奖。
4、作为第一发明人，获得国家发明专利“一种用于防治畜禽热应激综合症的药物”，（专利证号：ZL200710175640.6）；
5、作为第一发明人，获国家发明专利“评价暑热证及中药药效的基因芯片”，（专利证号： ZL20091014954.1）；
6、作为第二发明人，获得国家发明专利“一种用于提高畜禽生产性能的药物（专利证号：ZL2007101755535.2）”。
7、有关黄柏生物碱有效部位提取纯化专利“一种黄柏总生物碱的提取方法”，专利登记号（No:200710179815.0）。
